Gemini study reveals growing gender gap in crypto ownership

The report notes a widening gender gap: in 2024, 69% of cryptocurrency owners identified as male and 31% as female. This is up from 2022, when the ratio was 58% men and 42% women
The research also showed that a significant percentage of former cryptocurrency owners expressed interest in re-entering the market, suggesting that the gender gap may narrow by 2025
The report is based on a survey of 6,000 adults in the US, UK, France, Singapore, and Turkey, conducted from May 23 to June 28, 2024
