El Salvador opens doors to international crypto-based settlements

According to Russian consul Alexander Ilyukhin, in Nicaragua, the government of El Salvador has proposed using cryptocurrency to simplify trade settlements between the two countries

This may be the first time a country has officially proposed using cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange in international trade
