Satoshi may have used a Canadian Bitcoin exchange

Conor Grogan discovered evidence suggesting that Satoshi may have used Cavirtex, an early Canadian Bitcoin exchange that was originally bought by New York-based Coinsetter in 2015 and subsequently acquired by Kraken in 2016

Grogan used on-chain analysis to determine that Satoshi's wallet, starting with "1PYYj," received bitcoins from Cavirtex. If confirmed, this would be the first piece of on-chain data indicating that Satoshi may have used a centralized exchange.
