Ethereum's next Pectra upgrade will go through two forks

The decision to split the next major Ethereum upgrade, Pectra, into two hard forks was apparently finalized during the All Core Developers Consensus conference on September 19
Pectra 1
Currently, Pectra 1 is expected to include eight EIPs. EIP-2935 is the main component. EIP-2537 and EIP-7865 will strengthen interaction between the mainnet and the Beacon Chain, while EIP-6110 aims to reduce latency
Pectra 2
The second Pectra will most likely contain PeerDAS, which will provide additional L2 data availability, building on the March implementation of proto-danksharding. It is also expected to include a package of ten EIPs related to the EVM Object Format (EOF)
