Vitalik Buterin presented a roadmap to improve Ethereum privacy

In a blog post dated April 10, Buterin proposed "a maximally simple L1 privacy roadmap" containing ways to "practically improve the state of privacy"

Vitalik believes that wallets should have a concept of a shielded balance, and when you send crypto to someone else, there should be an option to "send from the shielded balance"

His goal is to reach a world where "a significant portion of sends are private, and in many cases private sends are the default settings"
