Crypto donations in 2024 will exceed $1B

The annual report by The Giving Block on philanthropy shows that the average size of a crypto donation increased by 386% compared to last year, reaching $10,978. Additionally, 70% of Forbes' Top 100 charities now accept crypto donations, a 25% increase from the previous year

The largest share of donations went to nonprofits in the education sector — 16%, followed by healthcare and medical organizations — 13%. Nonprofits focused on children and youth received 9.9%, and animal welfare charities received 9.6%
